Have We Ever Been Told What Jesus Was Really About?
by Dr. Ledwith

Posted by on 13 December, 2008

Dr. Miceal Ledwith, former head of the Vatican’s International Theological Commission, and featured expert in "What the Bleep Do We Know" and "Down the Rabbit Hole" introduces us to his latest works"Jesus: Master of the Quantum Field" and the true mechanics of miracles and manifestation. From the discovery of the Scrolls of Tibet, and historical evidence of his life in India and Egypt, Ledwith reviles the truth that the Vatican and the Church have never told you.

All through my life I had growing suspicions that we were never told what Jesus really came to do in this world, and how were meant to relate to it.

I always felt that the images of a bloodied savior who struggled up the hill of Calvary to die for our sins accomplished little except portray God the Father as a vengeful parent who wanted the death of his only and innocent son to appease his anger against us. The whole scene seemed to glorify suffering and disappointment and above all was just about obeying rules, guilt, sin, failure. The consequence of that of course was the ever present possibility of eternal punishment at the hands of a God whose nature was supposed to be love unimaginable It´s no wonder so many people found this image of God and Jesus unattractive and why so many voted with their feet and left the religious scene entirely.

But I discovered that salvation according to the ancient Church was never seen in this way, but as a process of divinization, a making divine of the human being. How do we set about this divinization, and what now becomes possible for us if and when we achieve it? Is it the wonders Jesus promised us we could do as our birthright? The average church goer has little knowledge of even the existence of this reality, much less what it makes possible when we make it our own. As a result we can do very little of what religion promises officially and none of the wonders the fabled beings of long ago accomplished. How should we set about recovering true spiritual power and the outstanding things that follow?

It used to strike me when I took up the New Testament how little there was there about most of the life of Jesus. We heard a little bit about his birth and exile to Egypt shortly afterwards in two of the Gospels only, but nothing more until he was twelve. After telling us than what happened during a period of three days, we hear nothing more about him at all until the age of thirty: a gap of eighteen years, longer than the rest of his entire life. In short nearly 90% of the life of Jesus is missing from the New Testament. Where was he and what was was he doing during all those years?

"The plot thickened for me when I later came to realize that there were about 113 major parallels between the teaching of Jesus and the teaching of the Buddha, including all of the major parables."

What did this tell me? That he spent 18 years in an apprenticeship in a carpenter´s shop in Nazareth? I don´t think so. Later when I discovered the scrolls unearthed in Tibet in the late 19th. Century, I suddenly realized something that made sense of the whole scene. Jesus had travelled to the East in his teenage years to discover there the ways of the great masters. He was actually blazing a trail of enormous personal growth and transformation, and the point of it all was so that you and I could follow the evolution that he accomplished. Suddenly all of the problems and difficulties and distinctions began to fade away and one saw the pieces of the jig-saw come together in harmony. We began to understand how it all fitted and what place so many other great figures such as the Buddha had in this scheme of things.

However what was even more interesting was that when we also realized for the first time so many things about the nature of reality and how we interact with it, that too began to shed enormous light on what Jesus taught and did. Quantum physics opened our eyes to many realities that had been hidden up to that time or that had been described in more homely terms, like "the mustard seed."

"Jesus, we now begin to see, was a master of the quantum field. He came to teach us by information and example how to become the same as he was."

But we turned his message on its head. We made it impossible for what he wanted to occur, for if we believe that the reason we are here in this world is to make amends for our sins and feel sorrow and guilt as the supreme religious expression, then the quantum field will oblige and grant more of the same to us.

We never really grasped one of the central teachings of Jesus: "What you pray for something, believe it is already yours, and it shall be so." Instead we felt the best method was to do the opposite and proclaim that it was not ours by proclaiming our lack, our sinfulness and unworthiness, and to beg and pray for it to be given to us, thereby making it impossible for us ever to receive it. We did not realize the quantum field had granted our wishes. We just did not realize what intent we had placed in that field because we had not attended to the word of Jesus. Sometimes people say to me “I can’t seem to manifest what I desire?” when the truth is that they are manifesting exactly what it is they desire, but they don’t realize that because the traps in the ways we pray has never been pointed out.

Why do so many of the self-help programs that have become so popular in recent years fail to deliver what we had hoped for and leave behind such disappointment and disillusionment? For much the same reason.

Based on the insights of quantum physics, the information form the hidden years of Jesus, and my discoveries gained from the study of the orb phenomenon, what it reveals about the nature of the universe we live in as well as what the human person really is, I will discuss in the Expo workshops what the hidden years of Jesus really tell us, how those self-help programs realized this, but largely failed to grasp the true mechanism for manifestation of our desires, and what we can now do with the new knowledge we have to empower the manifestation of our hears desires.

Positive self-esteem is very important if not crucial to our happiness and well being as a human being. Having positive self-esteem can make the difference in that which we take on in life, in that which we go about achieving and creating. Having positive self- esteem also allows us to have healthy and joyous relationships with others, to experience true intimacy. One could also assert that having positive self-esteem gives us access to genuine spirituality.

Poor self-esteem, on the other hand, creates the space for us to experience a great deal of negativity in life including depression, anxiety, fear, stress and loneliness. Negative or poor self-esteem is also highly correlated with alcohol and drug dependency. Some even believe that a negative or poor self-image is the source of such addictions.

While it appears that the importance of positive self-esteem is somewhat understood, the unanswered question has always been about how to improve or enhance a person’s self-esteem. Some belief that a person’s self-esteem rests upon them being successful, in accomplishing that which they take on in life, of achieving goals that they have set for themselves. As a result much effort is put into assisting others in effectively and efficiently planning their doing in life. Others believe that our sense of self-esteem is determined by the type of relationships that we have, that by surrounding ourselves with positive people who will appreciate and acknowledge us that our esteem will be positively impacted. To this end training is given to help a person improve his interpersonal skills, how he communicates and relates with others. While both of these endeavors are important, it is not the having or doing that creates positive self-esteem. Ones self-esteem is not given or to be obtained from without, external to the person.

One very effective way to improve self-esteem is through the use of positive affirmations. Positive affirmations are very powerful for transforming how a person feels and thinks about himself, ultimately influencing how he views and acts within the world and towards others. The fundamental reason why positive affirmations are so effective is that their nature or structure reflects what already exists in our mind. Our identity or who we think we are, our current thinking patterns, are also a series of affirmations, composed fundamentally of mere words or language. Everything we think, all of the thoughts that we have, are merely affirmations. Positive affirmations, when used consistently, begin to alter our prevalent internal language pattern, as negative as it may be, our inner self talk or dialogue that exists within us. The end result of the consistent use of positive affirmations is the transformation of an inner negative language pattern into one that is positive in nature

The most effective way to use positive affirmations is with the individual’s own voice. While a person can have a beneficial result from listening to a commercially developed product that employs positive affirmations recorded by another, the transformative power of this technology is enhanced or strengthened by the positive messages being delivered in the person’s own voice. By using a person’s own voice to transform the inner dialogue, there is less resistance to the transformational process due to the fact that the voice itself is the same or identical. It is as though the negative voice or language pattern that one hears repeatedly in life is altered or transformed by the consistent exposure and listening to that same voice but with the structure of positive enhancing affirmations. Eventually the structure will transform from one that is negative to one that is positive in nature.

The process of using ones own voice in doing work with positive affirmations can be strengthened with the use of therapeutic relaxation music. While the use of ones own voice is very powerful for creating change in a person’s life, the use of specially designed therapeutic relaxation music assists in creating the audio space for this process to be very powerful. We tend to be more open or suggestible to positive affirmations or language when we are in a state of relaxation. When combined with binaural audio tones the relaxing affect of the therapeutic relaxation music is greatly enhanced. When used with the combined effect of the therapeutic relaxation music and binaural audio tones and consistently, the positive enhancing affirmations that are delivered will have such a profound affect upon improving and transforming a person’s internal, self-talk and eventually his self-esteem.

The technology of utilizing positive affirmations that are recorded in a person’s own voice and therapeutic relaxation music is currently being employed in the treatment of those suffering from substance dependency problems. At the Holistic Addiction Treatment Program in North Miami Beach, Florida, clients are given access to this powerful technology. Clients have the ability to create personal affirmations that empower them and support their recovery and also are able to record these affirmations. The recorded positive affirmations are then mixed with specially designed therapeutic relaxation music to create a powerful audio product to assist the individual in his recovery. Once created the client is trained in the most effective manner in which to utilize their personal CD as part of their overall recovery plan. Those clients who utilize this powerful technology tend to improve their self- esteem, stay in recovery and improve the quality of their life in general. When a person feels and thinks more positively about himself he tends to be more positive towards everything that he is taking on in his life, including and most importantly his recovery.
